Johnny Depp is setting up his own record label, to be called Unison Music.
The star already has an A&R team scouting the UK for new talent and, according to reports, one was at London’s Monarch earlier this month.
An insider told The Sun: "Johnny has always been passionate about music. He's taking a really hands-on approach to signing acts. Obviously he can't get to as many gigs as he would like but he's got a good team around him and will personally vet any signings that they make."
The Pirates of the Caribbean star has long been a massive music fan – he played guitar on the 1997 Oasis track ‘Fade In-Out’ and appeared on the soundtrack to his 2003 film ‘Once Upon a Time in Mexico’
